Beautification Day

All school families are invited for a fun morning of sprucing up the school grounds for Open House and the first week of school! This is a GREAT way to get connected and to meet school staff, teachers, and families.  
  • 2019-2020 Spirit Wear designs will be on sale!
  • Teacher and classroom assignments will be posted at 5:00 pm!
We’ll be planting flowers at the front entrance, trimming hedges, picking up trash, laying pine straw, pulling weeds and doing a general clean up.  Please bring the following items, if you have them:  Gloves, gardening tools, shovel, trash bags, truck, hedge clippers, tree limb trimmers, electric or gas (preferable) hedge trimmers, electric or gas (preferable) blower, and bottled water, Gatorade, etc.

Homeroom teacher names were included on this year's welcome back postcard!  If your child's teacher was not listed, then your registration document is incomplete.  Please call the school's front office for more details.

Stock up on classroom supplies by checking out the 2019 teacher supply lists!  Beginning July 20th, review and acknowledge GCPS and Sugar Hill Elementary documents, as well as paying any classroom or school related fees on MyPaymentsPlus.
We're looking forward to seeing you at Sugar Hill's Open House!  Currently enrolled students do not have to register online but will need to verify enrollment information at Open House.

At Sugar Hill Elementary's Open House you will be able to:
  • Meet your teacher and verify enrollment information
  • Get your bus and/or car rider number
  • Prepay lunches (or visit MyPaymentsPlus to pay online now!)
  • Join our PTO (our membership card has local discounts this year),  purchase spirit wear, get plugged in and sign up to volunteer for this school year's events!
  • Sign up for electronic newsletters and text messages

Class lists will be posted on the front entrance doors on Friday,  July 26th after 5pm.  First day of school is Monday, August 5th 8:15-2:45.
  • MEMBERSHIP - Sign up or renew your PTO annual membership.  Check out the local discounts on our brand new PTO membership card for the 2019-2020 school year!
  • YEARBOOKS - Look for more details on how to purchase a 2019-2020 yearbook at open house!
  • ALL PRO DAD - Join the fun and RSVP at our monthly breakfast!
  • SPIRIT WEAR - Check out our new designs for our 2019-2020 school year!
  • 2019-2020 CALENDAR OF EVENTS - Print it and post it on your fridge to catch all the fun this year and support our school!
